Our family stayed at this hotel for our first visit to Colombia in 2021 and recommended it to our friends and family travelling with us for our daughter's wedding on August 4th, 2022. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Our daughter and her significant other were travelling with us and they ended up getting very sick. The rest of the family had to check out to attend another function and the staff at the hotel allowed them to extend their stay and continually checked on them and even brought them food! I have NEVER experienced such hospitality at a hotel. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel when visiting Colombia, and will never stay anywhere else. We also really love the breakfast every morning!

Very stylish decoration. Very nice hotel, helpful and friendly staff. Abundant breakfast with a fine variety of options and fresh fruits. The restaurant has a very nice inner venue, but most of the tables are placed in the patio, which is perfectly ok during day hours, but not that pleasant during the night if you want to rest a bit from the beautiful but bursting Cartagena. Restaurant manager and staff should be aware of the buzz and noise coming from the patio, and seriously respect the opening hours or, at least, place big groups in the inner dining space during dinners.

Our stay at Casa Don Luis was fantastic. The hotels location is perfect to explore the whole city, not just the old town. The hotel was spotless, always staff on hand and the restaurant in the hotel is fantastic (seriously some of the best pasta we've had). The room was incredible, had a massive bed with some amazing linen. Air conditioning was great and very much needed. I would also like to give a special shout out to Eduardo who was such an incredibly friendly and helpful man.

The decor of this hotel is amazing. I've visited Cartagena before and love the vibe of these small boutique hotels. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was super helpful in obtaining reservations for us throughout our stay, brokering the charter of a boat, and we even ate dinner from the hotel restaurant in a private room one night. The breakfast was perfect and there was a lot of variety. We visited in a group of 8 and we all absolutely loved our stay.

Very nice property that is well located in the heart of the walled part of the city. Eduardo was excellent as the guest manager and the rest of the staff was very helpful too. They gave us a room upgrade and were quite accomodating. The hotel has a old world charm and a nice courtyard with a small pool as well as a a pool / jacuzzi on the terrace. loved the room decor.
